1. God created the first man (Adam) and the first woman (Eve) and they walked with God for a time without sin. (Genesis 1:26-27, Genesis 1:31, Genesis 2:21-25);
2. Adam and Eve sinned against God and by doing so they brought death and destruction upon themselves, all of creation, and all of their descendants. (Romans 5:12, Romans 3:23); 
3. Because of Adam's fall we are all born with a sinful nature that manifests itself by all manner of sinful deeds and actions that are in direct rebellion to God's law as presented in the Bible (Ephesians 2:1-3, Psalm 14:2-3, Psalm 51:4-5, 1 John 2:16, Exodus 20:3-17);
4. Because of our sin we are separated from God, spiritually dead, condemned to death, and destined for an eternal hell. (Romans 6:23, Isaiah 59:2-3, Luke 12:4-5, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Galatians 5:19-21); 
5. However, because of what Jesus did on the cross there is good news for us! If we confess our sins, repent (turn away from our sins), believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and place our faith solely in Him as our Savior, we can be saved. Once we accept Christ as our Lord and Savior we become a new creation (born again) and our old sinful life is buried with Christ. Now as a child of God, we are united in fellowship with Him, given the gift of the Holy Spirit, made spiritually alive, given power over our sinful nature, given victory over death, and destined to eternal life with Christ. (Ephesians 1:7, Mark 1:14-15, John 3:3, John 3:16, Ephesians 4:22-24, 1 Corinthians 15:54-58, Romans 6:22-23, Acts 2:38, John 6:35, Romans 5:1).  

Have you, dear reader, given your life to Christ? Are you saved? If you were to die today would you go to heaven or hell? If you are unsure, or know that you are lost, you can call out to God in prayer and become saved right now! Simply open your heart to God and pray a prayer similar to the one below. Merely repeating words alone cannot save you, but if you will say these words and believe them in your heart then God can and will save you. Let us pray; Dear God in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus Christ. I am a sinner and I am in need of salvation. I am sorry for my sins and the sinful life I have lived. I ask you to forgive and cleanse me from all the wrong I have done. Lord God, I turn away from my sins now and I ask you to give me a whole new life. Jesus, I believe that you are the only begotten Son of God, that you died for my sins on the cross, and that God raised you up to life again on the third day. Lord Jesus, I accept you as my own personal Lord and Savior and I ask you to transform my life so that I may bring glory to your name all of my days. And now, according to the Word of God, I am a new creation. I am born again, I am a child of God, I am destined for heaven, I have been freed from the power of sin, and I AM SAVED! Thank you Lord, Amen. Congratulations! If you prayed this prayer and believed it in your heart, you are a child of God. Here are some things you should do to follow up on your commitment to Christ:

1. Get baptized (full immersion) in water as commanded by Christ.
2. Tell someone about your new faith in Jesus Christ.
3. Spend time with God each day in prayer and reading the Bible.
4. Find a local church to attend and seek out fellowship with other believers in Christ.
